Dear Patrons, Supporters, and Friends,

On the evening of October 4, 2015, Share and Care Foundation (SCF) will be hosting its 33rd Annual Gala spotlighting SCF’s Educate to Success initiative – ‘Bringing Education to India’s forgotten Children.’ This event will help to highlight and fund our programs in Education, as well as our Healthcare and Women Empowerment programs.

SCF has made a very significant investment in the philanthropic space. 33 years ago, when we started as a simple clothes drive, it was about bringing friends and family together to raise resources for something we believed in – giving back to our home country. This one event inspired hundreds more, to help countless nonprofits solve problems in India.

President Clinton often says, “There can be a big difference between the headlines and the trend lines.” The trend lines show that Share and Care Foundation is changing millions of lives.

We’ve seen incredible stories of social innovation, human perseverance and generosity that transcend borders, race or sexual orientation. These successes inspire us to keep going, to keep building and to keep dreaming up new ways to help them grow. But as amazing as these stories are, the financial and operational challenges that nonprofits face have only increased over the past several years.

The stakes are higher than ever before for nonprofits and social enterprises on the front line of some of humanity’s greatest challenges, like disease, poverty, gender equality and hygiene. It’s imperative that we continue to help navigate these trends, secure funding and empower local NGOs so they can continue providing these vital services.

So, while today’s announcements are milestones by themselves, it’s what they will enable us to do over the long run that is most exciting. To think that we can play even a small role in helping to accelerate solutions toward India’s social challenges is not only gratifying, it’s motivating. We speak for every person at SCF in saying that we are fortunate and proud to be part of this team, doing what we’re doing, helping who we’re helping and shaping the future together. And that includes you too – our donors, our partners, our beneficiaries, our advisors and our friends and family.

Anything truly impactful started with at least one believer, and we are forever grateful for your belief in us as we continue to turn our shared vision into a reality. We are more determined than ever to continue work that’s generating life-changing solutions, but we can’t succeed without you.

We invite you to continue lending your support by participating in our 33rd Annual Gala, as a sponsor, advertiser, and guest. We hope you will join us for an evening of Music, Magic, Mast Mast Kalaiyaan on October 4, 2015.

Thank you for being by our side. We count on YOU!

Arun Bhansali
