Almost 2 million people have been displaced from their homes. Roads have caved in, there is no electricity, and thousands remain stranded without shelter. The death toll has crossed 350, and hundreds of thousands more are suffering without access to clean water, medications, and sanitary conditions.

As with most disasters, the poorest people are the most affected, yet least likely to receive the help they urgently need. Share and Care Foundation is working with our credible on-ground partners in Chennai and surrounding areas to provide food, clean water, warm clothing, and medications to those in need.
