Community Comes Together for Kids4Kids Pickleball Fundraiser

This January, the Share & Care Kids4Kids community scored a major win both on and off the court.

The 2026 Kids4Kids Pickleball Fundraiser brought together more than 60 community members for an afternoon of lively competition and camaraderie. Thanks to the tremendous enthusiasm and generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, the event raised over $15,000 in support of Kids4Kids initiatives.

Back by popular demand, this year’s tournament featured exciting match-ups across all divisions. Rivaan Shah and Yatharth Mehta captured the Kids division title, Pinal Shah and Sony Varaiya claimed the Women’s championship, and Harshit Shah and Akshat Upadhyay emerged victorious in a highly competitive Men’s division. Beyond the official brackets, spectators and players alike enjoyed spirited pick-up games, making the event welcoming and inclusive to all.

The success of the fundraiser was made possible by the dedication of the Kids4Kids Committee, led by President Saisha Varaiya. From securing the venue and negotiating logistics to overseeing ticketing, scheduling, and tournament play, the committee’s thoughtful planning and teamwork ensured a seamless and memorable event. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees reflected the care and commitment behind every detail.

One particularly inspiring moment captured the true spirit of Kids4Kids. Anya Shah, a Kids4Kids committee member, donated $1,200 to Share & Care Kids4Kids—funds she earned through a small business she started during the COVID pandemic selling hand sanitizer and lip balm. After saving her earnings for several years, Anya chose to give back in support of Kids4Kids projects such as LOLT, SPRJK, and initiatives in Malawi, demonstrating remarkable empathy, foresight, and social responsibility.

Through Kids4Kids, the organization continues to expand educational access and opportunity for underprivileged children in India while nurturing leadership, compassion, and service among local high school students. Events like the Pickleball Fundraiser reinforce an important message to our teens: their voices, efforts, and commitment to making a difference truly matter.

Kids4Kids extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, and supported this event. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community—and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
