Disaster Relief

Delivering Hope in Times of Tragedy

Our Approach

Since its inception, Share and Care Foundation has responded to numerous major disasters, including floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, and a global pandemic by providing lifesaving relief. When help is needed, our Disaster Relief Committee springs to action, working jointly with governments, corporations, NGOs, and other strategic partners to deliver hope in times of tragedy.

We undertake immediate and long-term response tactics to assist affected communities when humanitarian crises strike. Our efforts are based on case-by-case needs and include community care, reconstruction, and rehabilitation efforts post-natural disasters. Share & Care provides a trusted platform for donors to lend a hand when the need is urgent.

Making Sustainable Change Through Local Leadership

Meet Our Lok Mitras: Friends of the People Working for Rural Transformation

Brothers Anil and Vishnu share their hardships with a Lok Mitra (“friend of the people”) after losing their mother and dealing with an alcoholic father, leading them to scavenge for food. Their story highlights the critical issues our Village Upliftment program addresses through Lok Mitras—college-educated social workers who live within village communities to provide support in education, healthcare, gender equity, and sustainable development. Trained by the Environmental Sanitation Institute, these dedicated individuals empower about 50,000 people. Just $1 can make a difference in a villager’s life.
