Our Mission
The mission of the Share & Care is to create opportunities for marginalized and economically challenged people in India. By partnering with communities, philanthropists, and local charitable organizations, we develop and provide quality education, primary healthcare, and skill development to improve quality of life, especially in rural India. Our efforts also include disaster relief and recovery to support the most vulnerable populations during critical times.

Financial Responsibility: We operate with a largely volunteer-run structure, minimizing overhead costs and ensuring that the maximum portion of your donations is directly invested into our programs. Our focus on financial responsibility guarantees that your contributions make a significant impact.
Members: The cornerstone of Share & Care Foundation’s strength lies in the dedication of our volunteers. Spanning decades from age 12 to 80+, these individuals come together with their diverse perspectives to bring creative solutions to challenging social problems. Their unwavering support and expertise have paved the way for visible impact in the communities we serve.
Holistic Approach: Our holistic approach addresses all aspects of the issues we aim to solve, including emotional, economic, societal, and environmental factors. By partnering with local NGOs deeply familiar with the needs and customs of the communities we serve, we effectively tackle the “big picture.” This ensures that our programs are not only effective but sustainable, guiding beneficiaries towards self-sufficiency and enabling them to uplift others, in turn creating a cycle of growth and improvement.
Research and Reporting: Our rigorous research and reporting methods ensure that our programs deliver measurable results and significant impacts. Continuous monitoring by our on-ground partners enhances the efficacy of our programs, providing transparency and accountability to our donors and stakeholders.
Community Empowerment: We are dedicated to empowering women through vocational training, financial management skills, and self-defense lessons. Our initiatives also include confidence training and gender equality education from a young age, aiming to change societal perceptions and elevate the status of women within their communities.
