38th Annual Gala and Fundraiser 38th Annual Gala and Fundraiser
  •  Saturday, Oct. 10
  •  8:00 PM Eastern (U.S.)
  •  Virtual Premier Show

Throughout 2020 it has become increasingly clear that we are one global family. What affects one affects us all — and during our first-ever virtual gala we will honor the bonds of humanity and hope for a better future that unite us. Together, we will be uplifted through music. Together, we will honor our achievements and celebrate those who make our work possible. Together, we will embolden our spirits and reinvigorate our commitment to others. We will rise.

On Saturday, October 10, 2020, for the first time ever, we are bringing our Annual Gala & Fundraiser to the screen for you to enjoy from your own home. We hope it will serve as a beacon of positivity during this stressful time. We are also enthused that this premier virtual gala will allow us to connect with supporters located not only in and near New Jersey, but across the United States.

As we near our Annual Gala & Fundraiser, now in its 38th year, we recognize the unique and difficult circumstances of what many are calling our “new normal.” We also understand and sympathize that many of our donors may have been affected by the pandemic — so we are mindful when we humbly ask you to give anything you can, as every drop makes a difference in another’s life.

Since the onset of COVID-19, we have allocated $200,000 in disaster relief funding and partnered with 16 NGOs to reach tens of thousands of struggling people in the U.S. and India. We have served 130,000+ meals to families and daily wage earners, distributed 34,000 healthcare items (including soap and masks), and served thousands of meals to healthcare heroes in the U.S. Our ongoing and future efforts are focused on rehab and rehabilitation for those affected by this crisis.

Your support is crucial to our mission. Your gifts to Share & Care are not only helping beneficiaries during this time of dire need; they are also creating ripples of positive change that will resound for generations. To date, your contributions to our Signature Programs have achieved the following:

  • 100,000 women have been impacted through gender equality programs.
  • 80+ remote villages (16,500 individuals) now have access to the basic healthcare they deserve.
  • More than 2,200 marginalized and at-risk students have received a primary and/or college education.
  • Approximately 50,000 villagers are empowered through sustainable village upliftment initiatives.

We at Share & Care are dedicated to uplifting humanity, and this gala will honor our community of beneficiaries and supporters who work to make this world a humanitarian haven. Let us join and partake of this gift in our hearts on October 10.

This musical extravaganza will feature entertainment curated by singer, composer, and global performer Parthiv Gohil and his band. Parthiv has been a part of the Share & Care family for more than 15 years, has performed at the prestigious World Music Festival in London, was featured in MTV’s Coke Studio India, and has lent his voice to a multitude of films.

The show will also feature entertainment from Manasi Parekh-Gohil, Sudesh Bhosle, Bhoomi Trivedi, and Jahnvi Shrimankar. Manasi — a singer, actor, and producer — has appeared in the award-winning film URI, the hit Gujarati film Golkeri, and the popular TV sitcom Sumit Sambhal Lega on Star Plus, for which she won an Indian Television Award. Indian playback singer Sudesh is known for his ability to mimic stars such as Ashok Kumar, Vinod Khanna, Sunil Dutt, and Sanjeev Kumar, as well as actor Amitabh Bachchan, for whom he has sung in many Bollywood films. Bhoomi has lent her voice to popular Bollywood songs, performed in the GIMA Awards and Radio Mirchi Awards, and won numerous awards for the super hit song “Ram Chahe Leela.” Jahnvi is known for her experimental work in Bollywood, collaboration with acclaimed Indian fusion bands, and her work in Gujarati film and folk music.

“The concept of sharing happiness and oneness is the purpose of this virtual concert. Music improves the mood, lifts the gloom, and brings positivity into our hearts. We hope and pray that our music will fill your evening with joy and inspire our shared dream to benefit those in need.” — Parthiv Gohil
