This exciting culinary competition will bring aspiring chefs, home cooks, and spectators together in support of our Women Empowerment projects in rural India. We welcome recipes from all regions and backgrounds — from Indian cuisine to modern American fare, and everything in between.

Cooking for a Cause is the brainchild of one of our young Ambassadors, Riya Mehta, 16, who wanted to make a difference in support of women’s empowerment and gender equality:

“I am a high school student and very strongly believe in women’s empowerment and gender equality. Participants can be single or paired — we invite teams like parents, grandparent, uncles, aunts, and friends teaming up with youngsters, cooking together and making this a fun event.”

AUDIENCE DETAILS

This will be a fun and inspiring event for these aspiring chefs. Your participation is welcome and encouraged so we can support those participating, help raise awareness for Women Empowerment programs, and establish an annual Cooking for a Cause event that we’ll all look forward to year after year. And sample amazing food!

To Attend: Click below to register as a spectator for $15. Entry will be $15 for on-site registration the day of the event, if space is still available. All proceeds will go to our Women Empowerment programs.

Note: You may add an additional donation amount during the checkout process.
